Our Mission

Our mission is to help nurses improve their image, from the ground up. Many uniforms on the market today resemble pajamas, or house dresses from the 1950s. Improving nursing's image is a many step process, many of which are being pursued by The Truth About Nursing, a successor organization to The Center for Nursing Advocacy. The Truth About Nursing works to increase public understanding of nursing, in large part by improving media images of nursing. Please see more about their work at truthaboutnursing.org.

The Nursing Vision is led by The Truth About Nursing's executive director Sandy Summers. All profits from uniform sales of The Nursing Vision will be given to The Truth About Nursing to fund its non-profit mission.
